We recommend towing at or below this speed.

The recommended operating pressure is 30 PSI (cold).

(Some minor variance may occur based on configuration.)

Excel Tent Trailers are offered in one standard tent canvas only:

  • Twin-tone (hybrid) Grey & Onyx Black

This is not a selectable option, and no other tent colors are currently offered.

Are there different tent layouts or models?

No. Excel uses one standard tent layout.

Customization is achieved through accessories, not alternate tent styles.

Do I need an awning if I purchase an Add-A-Room?

Yes. The Add-A-Room requires an awning, as it attaches directly to the awning structure.

Do I need an awning if I purchase a Screen Room?

Yes. The Screen Room also requires an awning for proper installation.

Can I install more than one awning?

Yes. Multiple awnings are supported and commonly used for additional shade.

Can the trailer be stored vertically in a garage?

Yes. The trailer can be stored vertically when using the approved tip stands and following proper safety precautions.

When stored upright, the approximate height is:

  • Without the drawbar attached: just under 6 ft tall (including tip stands)
  • With the drawbar attached: about 9 ft 6 in tall (including tip stands)

For safe vertical storage, the trailer must be:

  • Properly supported with approved tip stands
  • Fully secured
  • Placed on a stable, level surface

Vertical storage should only be done under these conditions to ensure safety and prevent damage.

How long does it take to set up the trailer?

Typical setup time is 2–5 minutes once familiar with the process.

What additional costs should U.S. customers expect beyond the trailer price?

In addition to the trailer price, U.S. customers may be responsible for:

  • Packaging fees
  • Freight / shipping
  • Customs brokerage
  • Import duties or tariffs
  • State or local taxes (if applicable)
Do you handle shipping and customs for U.S. orders?

Yes. For U.S. orders, we work with experienced cross-border freight partners and customs brokers who handle the entire process. All applicable costs—including freight, brokerage fees, and any tariffs—are captured upfront, so there are no surprises.

Can accessories be added after purchasing the trailer?

Yes. Accessories can be purchased later, though bundling accessories upfront may reduce total freight costs.
